Lynnete Johnston is a New York native raised in Spanish Harlem where she resides today. An artist at a young age she excelled in her creative skills and attended LaGuardia High School where she majored in Visual Arts. Lynnete also attended In the Making Summer at MoMA, a summer program in the Museum of Modern Art learning and developing new skills in printmaking. Currently she is a CUNY Baccalaureate student majoring in Publishing and Web Design. She is also a member of the College Group at the Met (CGM), a group of twenty-five local college students who plan and produce events and programs for other students at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
